Exhibition at HOME as part of the Manchester Open from Sat 18th Jan 2020 to Sun 15th Mar 2020.

Yarn is a poem collectively created online by residents of Manchester.

Between May and August 2018. Manchester residents were invited on social media to take part in the project by submitting a sentence inspired by a previous sentence displayed on the website.

The projects entire aim was to bring together the people of Manchester, united in writing a poem to document the creativity of the cities’ residents, whilst generating a unique piece of writing.

By the submission deadline of 31st Aug 2018, 218 people had taken part, with 245 unique sentences submitted.

Station South – An Ode to Cycling

Station South are restoring a beautiful Victorian railway station in Levenshulme to create a cafe, co-working and event space. The team are very big on audience participation and as part of their Out of Hours event with MIF, they decided that they wanted to invite their audience to create a poem.
